January 1, 1949 – February 16, 2021 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of William Kenneth McKeown (Bill) at the age of 72 after a fierce and courageous battle with cancer. Bill leaves behind his devoted wife Janet (Jan) and was a proud father to his children, Rychard (Alysha) and Lee (Denton). Family and friends were everything to him and he was the happiest when everyone was gathered around laughing and singing. Predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Eleanor McKeown and his sister Joanne He is survived by his sister Donna (Steve) and brother-in-law Finn. Bill moved to Georgetown at the age of 12 – discovered his love of singing in High School and the band Mondo Court. Bill started working with Georgetown Chrysler in 1975 and then carried his love of helping people into Real Estate and worked with Re/Max until he retired in 2020. He was involved with many charities, Classics against Cancer, Downtown Car Show (Bill loved driving around Town in his bright orange ’72 Cutlass). Bill also loved spending time at the Hern Family cottage at Chesley Lake. Special Thanks to Georgetown Hospital Doctors and Staff, Dr. Van and the Georgetown Medical Associates.
