Laurence was born on April 16, 1968 in Easington, Durham, England to Michael and Kathleen Quinn. He was the youngest of 4 brothers (Sean, Gerard and Stephen). The Quinn family immigrated to Canada in July 1979. Laurence had the honor and privilege of working with his family at Sign Solutions Ltd in Bolton, ON, a Company that Michael and Gerard Quinn built together over 35 years ago. On August 10, 1991 Laurence married Jacqueline Craig. They raised one son, David. Tragically after 22 years of marriage, Jacqueline lost her battle to cancer on August 12, 2013 shortly after Laurence's horrific motorcycle accident on July 12, 2011. After suffering much loss and still in recovery, Laurence chose life. His strength, determination and support from Family, Friends, Surgeons and Therapists gave him the drive to move forward. Not only did he get a second chance at life, but he also got a second chance at love. After 5 years, Laurence and Christine Raymore were married. He continued to be an excellent father to David, but also took the role of father to Ayron, Mitchell and as Granda to Emma. Laurence will also be greatly missed Sean, Linda, Michael, Jillian, Gerard, Annie, Liam, Aidan, Stephen, Angela, Andrew, Meghan, Rachael, his extended family in England and everyone he touched with his presence. Family and friends are invited to the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Monday February 15, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. A private family celebration of Laurence's life will be held in the chapel on Tuesday February 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions to the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
