We wish to extend enormous thanks to his long-time and dedicated caregiver Evelyn Petros. Jack lived all of his years on the Norval farm that has been in the family since 1834, keeping a close eye on all coming and goings. His life was dedicated to his two loves, his family and his business, Maple Lodge Farms est. 1955. He loved small parties, his famous " 1 hour party" and practice of singing Happy Birthday to each and every person on his work team as agenda item #1 at the daily 6:30 am meeting, all noted in his little black book. He was a strong leader and was giving direction right up until the end. We remember his unwavering devotion to our mother Jean's care and happiness. Cremation has taken place with a private family funeral in the near future. As they wished, Jack and Jean will be buried together to continue their last "Sentimental Journey". In lieu of flowers, please raise a glass and toast a life well lived. For those who wish, donations may be made in his honor to Norval United Church or a favorite local charity.
