Robert Jepson

Obituary of Robert Neville Jepson

Jepson, Robert-Neville (Bob) March 14, 1949 - October 19, 2021 It is with unbelievable sadness that we share the sudden loss of an amazing man, husband, father, papa, grandpa, brother, father-in-law and uncle. Predeceased by his parents Alec (Bob) and Alice and brother Kerry. Loving partner to Mary Stockley for 54 years. Brother of Cherry (Peter), Father to Jason, Bobby (Melanie) and Samantha (Shawn). Papa/Grandpa to Jayden, Tyler, Ava Caissie, Jessica, Emma and Aiden Jepson. Bob graduated from Sheridan College in 1970 and pursued his career as a Mechanical Draftsman, finishing up as Chief Design Technician with ITP/Armacell, where he enjoyed plying his trade for 37years. He visited many countries and enjoyed travelling but Georgetown was where he chose to call home for all of his days. He was forever curious and gathered information like water to a sponge. He seemed to know a little about most everything and was wise enough to spend more time listening than speaking. He enjoyed science and discovery related to the living and prehistoric animal kingdoms and the vastness of the universe. Always a talented artist he rekindled his joy for creating art in the past year as he channeled his inner Bob Ross™. His interests were too many to list here. Above all else, he was a doting husband and consummate family man. His passion was his family, including all of the "adopted" kids who came and went over the years. He was masterfully patient and had a keen ability to know when to engage and when to not overstep, as such, he was that rare person for whom you may not find anyone that knew him who didn't like and respect him. A true man among men. He was consistently awesome and the type of person to aspire to. Godspeed Bob and May The Force Be With You! 'Til we meet again...lovingly yours. Special thanks go out to Steph, Drs. Malek, Hill, Jamal, Yokum, Kohli and Credit Valley and Oakville Memorial Hospital staff. A celebration of life will be hosted at Jones Funeral Home on Saturday, November 20, 2021. In lieu of flowers donations and be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Animals Homeward Bound and Canadian Cancer Society.
